Chinese New Year and Valentines Day. Special days both. First date and anniversary respectively.

This release tells a chronological tale. From meeting, to love, through two years, through decline, and eventual break up.
Still now, I am very pleased with ‘Home’ for not being overly specific at first glance. Home synonymous with love, and those one loves. In truth it referred to unhappiness with living away from Her. ‘Cotton’ refers to the token specific to a 2 year anniversary. ‘Love that was Found’ is something of an homage to Frankie Miller, a singer I have since fully taken to but had at the time of writing (about 2 years ago) just found, via Paul Kossoff’s post-Free live shows.

Home has remained my key term to represent love in my music. Love makes a place into a space; abstract; a feeling, a presence.

Everybody, feel love.
